I figured it's time for another update on the newphew =)
Um...let's see...he perfect?
Another beautiful teenager...graduating from high school...with more style than should be allowed to one person. (I need a makeover). Here I am again saying this about kids and their parents, but I loved the way Aisha interacted with her mama. Ya'll were hilarious! By the way, I'd like to give a little shout out to my friend Leah (Aisha's mom...my day job co-worker and friend)!! Whoop Whoop...
This is one cool girl. Graduating in a few days, she's got more style in her pinky than I have in my entire body at 37... Lindsey...teach me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lindsey's mom and sister ran around with us and let me just say, I LOVED the way the three of them interacted. There was no drama...no smart mouth kids...just three people who clearly loved each other having a good time. Thanks guys for letting me hang out with you. Ya'll have a great family!
Congrats Grads! Two beautiful sisters...twins...
I just saw them the other night before they went to prom. Girls, you both looked gorgeous!
Your dates were lucky guys...
Elizabeth...
Those eyes are to die for...
Elliot...
I think of Snow White when I look at this picture...
Thanks Ryan and Jaclyn for letting me take part in your special day! Jaclyn you were absolutely beautiful and your eyes are to die for =)
LOVE this picture...the guys just got their first glimpse of Jaclyn as she came out of her dressing room upstairs.
We took off to the Natural Bridge Caverns and Wildlife Ranch over spring break. Lots of fun. Thought I'd post a few pics...
These two got married about a year and a handful of months ago. They've been through a lot and now Jason has gone and joined the Marines. That crazy kid! He'll be gone to basic training...no contact with Jessica, or anyone for that matter, for 13 weeks. They wanted some pics before he took off so the day before he left to California we took off to Silvan Beach in LaPorte...just a few miles from my house.
I admire Jason for joining the military during war time. My cousin Sam served his time over there and is now stationed in the good ol' USA. Can I hear a "God bless America"?
Thanks Jason for serving our country so we can live in the land of the free...home of the brave...
Session fee not included.
Contact me for larger quantities...
My grandma had the greenest thumb of anyone I've ever known. She had flowers everywhere. Along the front of the house, the sides...the back and behind the garage. They were everywhere. She had planted flowers for every season so that there was always something in bloom. Those who were lucky enough to know her had at some point enjoyed her flowers. So at her funeral the chapel couldn't hold all the flowers people had sent. They were around the front and along the sides of the room. The smell was almost overwhelming.
5 years ago I was helping my mom clean out my grandparents house (my grandpa was still there at the time) and I was emptying out the freezer they had in the basement. To my surprise I found a bag that had little rolled up paper towels inside. Curious, I took them upstairs and begin to unwrap them one by one. They were seeds that my grandma had saved every season when her flowers would die. Hundreds...thousands of them, each kind held together in it's own paper towel.
I took them to my mom's and planted a few from each bundle. Amazingly after 5 years they actually bloomed. I planted them outside but it was too late in the year and soon the snow overtook them. I've always said that when I had a house of my own I would plant them again so that I could have a part of my grandma where ever I was. The last time my mom came to Texas she brought me that bag. SO...tonight I have planted a few of each seed. I have no idea what kind of seeds they are. I taped a few of each kind to a stick and put at the front of each row. It's been so long, I have no idea if they will even come to life but can you imagine if they do!
My grandma has been gone for almost 11 years but her flowers are still blooming over on Bristol Rd. Each season a new bloom that has been coming back in that same spot year after year. Hopefully I will have the same luck. I would give anything to be able to ask her for advice...
Ryan picked me up this mini green house. This is the same one he is using for his trees...yes trees.
The bag from the freezer...
If anyone out there has some advice for me it would be much appreciated! If you can see that I'm not doing something right just speak up and drop a comment on this post!
If I see any action in the tray I'll post it. Let's hope it hasn't been too long for them to sprout!!!
Don't ya just want to squeeze him!!!
I had all those blankets stacked nice and perfect but the little man wouldn't turn his head to face the neat side...so we settled...
Just a shout out to my baby.
I love you...
Congrats to the newlyweds! Get a room "you's two's"!
And by the way...thanks David for serving our country in the United States Army! You rock!
...are crazy. Let's just get that out there and in the open! Love ya'll though! What a blessed family you all are. Your love for each other is obvious...
Christmas picture time...
I had to bribe my wonderful little neices and nephew...$1 for every picture that turned out good. They got a few dollars out of me...Here's $3
How bout those dresses ya'll...
cause there's just too many good ones...
Lauren will be graduating next year...and early I might add...she's only 16! WOW! It was so cool to hang out with her, her sister and one of my dearest friends, Leetle Baby Nessa! Vanessa I got some serious glamor shots of you but I'll email those to you instead of posting on here. (you can thank me later) Lauren, I wish you the best of luck. You are one of the most beautiful girls I've met...inside and out! You and your sister were so respectful and polite...I just loved spending time with ya'll! Here's just a preview...I've barely scratched the surface of the pictures I took...they are all so good! I'll probably have to post more as I get into them. But for now...
First of MANY more to come...
My beautiful sister had her baby on Monday, December 14 at 3:04am. I left San Antonio on Sunday night and got back to Houston about 9:30pm...just to take a shower, repack and turn right back around...I made it 15 minutes after Kellan was born. I should have known the minute I head home is when she would start having contractions. I got to spend the next two days, minus a few hours, with her in the hospital. She is doing so good and Kellan...well he's just perfect...all 7lbs 7ozs of him!
Daddy (holding Kellan) and Uncle Jason...
Grandma Rita and Grandpa Randy...Roberts parents...
see...isn't he just perfect...
ummm yeah......is he suppose to be looking at me like that only a few hours after he was born???
The newest member of the Davis family is the most girly little baby I've ever seen. I guess cause I've never had my own, but newborns sort of all look the same...Right? Am I wrong here? (I don't think so people) Well, this is the first time if I didn't see a pink bow or a dress on this baby I would automatically know she was a girl. Abby's little features are so feminine. She was such a good little baby during our session. Even when her big brother Micah was trying to pose her...
Big Brother...
It's a hard job trying to hold up that pillow...
